JR Jackson Rees Circuit ( Jr)
  • The Jackson-Rees (JR) circuit, also known as the Mapleson F circuit, is a specialized medical breathing system primarily used in pediatric and neonatal anesthesia.
  • The circuit consists of a T-piece connector attached to the patient's airway (via endotracheal tube or mask), with one limb connected to a fresh gas supply and the other connected to a reservoir bag – 0.5 Ltrs with bleed Valve.
